- I was one of the first educators of Happy Campers, a family day care that began in 2014. Have enjoyed every moment of this journey.
- I understand the importance of treating each child as an individual, and give them the space to develop their skills and knowledge.
- On the days when the children are of the same age, I encourage team work by communicating with them to take turns to complete any activity.
- Each moment is a new experience for me and the children in my care.
We arrived at Charu’s after a disappointing experienced at a large childcare centre, and we have been so happy since starting with Charu over a year ago now. My son’s developmental needs (speech, ages/stages) have been responded to with such loving care. Charu is calm, gentle, thoughtful and warm – the opposite of a large, noisy childcare centre! Her home is welcoming and clean, and my son loves going for a drive in her big car! As a mother of three, and a family social worker, I have seen plenty of different childcare options, and this is hands down my favourite.
My son started with Charu when he was 2 1/2, on her very second day as a family daycare provider. From the first day I knew I had made the best choice. Charu taught him so much and he loved his days with her. It was a sad day when he spent his last day in her care because he was moving on to school. Charu and her family became a part of our family and we miss her!
My son jaiden loves going to childcare with charu, always very happy and excited and tells me about the day, charu teaches educational games and does fun activities with jaiden and the rest of the kids also goes out on excursions to Bunnings, the park, shopping centre etc. Jaiden really enjoys the smaller environment over the larger childcare centres highly recommend
