Each day is filled with fun, laughter, music, activities, imagination and skill building and most days we go on an outing to parks, cafe or parklands. I encourage the children to explore and discover new skills by providing appropriate gross motor, fine motor, social, imaginative and cognitive activities.
Some of the main points of focus for children in my care are:
Humour. Using laughter and humour throughout the day to promote wellbeing and resilience.
Friendship. Developing friendships from a very early age and learning to respect each other.
Guidance to understand consequences of behaviour and promote insightful thinking.
Imagination. Using our imagination through discussion, story telling and exploration.
Belonging. Each child is observed and encouraged to develop their own identity and considered an important member/friend within the group.
Independence. Children can develop confidence to rise to challenges and take control of their own wellbeing.

We send our boys (2 & 4) to Paula once a week and they love it. They’re always excited to go and hesitant to leave. Paula has a fantastic set up and always has a fun day prepared for the children.
We couldn’t be happier with our arrangement and are so pleased to have found Paula and Happy Campers.

I send my boy to Paula’s two day a week. He is alway waiting for those two days!
We are so lucky to have her for my boy. She is so loving and caring.
And most importantly my son just loves to go to hers!
We all love her and her lovely family.
Thanks always 🙂

We made the best decision by moving our son to family day care. He has been nurtured and cared for by Paula who is a fabulous educator. Our son has become an independent and confident boy and loves spending time with Paula. She is great at fostering their strengths and has taken his love for cars, trucks and trains to a whole new level!

From the day we met Paula we knew we had found a rare and wonderful person to take care of our little man. He loves being there and it has taken a load off my shoulders to know that he is happy and is being well looked after.
Paula has a wonderful set up in her home, and also takes the kids on excursions. They spend lots of time outdoors too which suits my boy to a T.
We are looking forward to sending our little girl to Paula next year as well.
So grateful to have found her.
